IPL is a technology which has become very successful for the last few years.
Its effect is based on the bio action of the light. Its excellent results are a
fact.
Working process:
The consummation of light from the
melanin and other skin pigments and it transformation into heat energy leads to
thermal changes in the area. Because the changes happen on the surface, they
influence the pigment spots and capillary, which leads to reconstruction of the
molecule of collagen. The natural regulatory skin
processes are being stimulated and finally – step by step softening the
wrinkles and age lines. Usually it takes up to 4-8 procedures, each one of them
20 days apart.
Suitable for:
Vascular lesions – capillary, vascular stars, etc. The light energy is being absorbed,
transformed into heat energy and as a result the unwanted lesions are removed.
For better effect, there a few procedures required(5-8).
Pigment lesions
– brown spots(freckles, pigmentation after intensive sun bathing,
pregnancy, some medicines or aging skin problems. The melanin is the skin pigmentation
that absorbes the light, followed by exfoliating the spots in a couple of days.
Usually it takes up to 4-8 procedures,
each one of them 20 days apart.

Advantages
- The skin on the face, neck and neckline becomes
smoother, the wrinkles and fine lines decrease, pigmentations and capillaries
disappear, smoother skin tone, the skin looks younger and energized.
- The procedures are harmless, there is no
rehabilitation and the client doesn’t change his usual routine and social
contacts.
- Long-lasting results – the proof are clinical
studies which showed that stimulating the collagen continues even after
the 6th month after the end of the treatment.
Procedures process
An initial dermatological examination must be taken, after that the best
medical treatment for the problem is chosen. Usually the clients take the
procedures during the fall-winter period, when there is no risk of skin
pigmentation. It’s best for the gaps to be 2-3 weeks between every procedure.
- When
necessary before the treatment (20 – 30 min) could be used analgesic cream;
- The
procedure starts after placing contact gel on the treated areas;
- The
client and the operator wear protecting glasses.
- Areas treated
- whole face, the neck, the back, the arms, etc.;
- The
manipulation takes only half an hour;
- After
the procedure the skin is treated with Cold pack – gel or mask.
Possible side effects
- During
the procedure you may feel sharp burning, like stinging;
- Blushing
on the skin that soon goes away;
- A minor
swelling, usually in the eyes area.
These side effects are normal reaction of the skin, they don’t require
treatment and disappear from a few hours to 1-2 days after the procedure.
- Very
rarely brown scales, they disappear for 4-5 days and leave no mark.
- Scars –
very rarely;
- Transitory
lighter or darker skin spots(usually when the skin tone is darker).
These procedures should not be taken when there is: pregnancy, skin infections,
epilepsy or neurological illnesses; taking medications, which increase skin
sensitivity against sunlight; very dark skin, as a result of sun bathing;
increased tendency for thick scars on the skin.
It is
obligatory for the clients to observe these rules after the procedures: using UV protecting cream up until the third month after the laser therapy,
using hydrating cream between every two
procedures; avoiding cosmetic products containing alphahydroxy acid, exfoliating
substances; to avoid temperature differences, mechanic skin damages and
cosmetic interfering up until one week after the laser therapy.
The full procedure course includes 5-8 procedures and the visible results
occur after the first-second procedure. Maximum effect is achieved after about
six months and it doesn’t disappear for two years. We recommend 1-2 maintaining
procedures yearly.
