The special intense pulsed light is applied on skin, since the chromatophore content in treated area is far more than that in normal skin, therefore it will be firstly absorbed by both the chromatophore and blood vessels whose temperature after absorption will also be higher than that of the normal skin, the differ of temperature is then used to close the treated blood vessels and to decompose chromatophore without doing any damage to normal organizations to achieve the final effect of enlarging capillary vessel and of treating pigmented spots.
